The Workbook tells you which route is yours. This is the deep version of the question underneath it: which employers actually sponsor, and how do you find them?
Every H-1B petition filed in the United States is a public record. So is every labour condition application, and so is every PERM labour certification. The government publishes all three, free, in bulk, with employer names. Almost nobody opens them, because the files are large, ugly and buried three clicks deep on sites nobody visits for fun.
We opened them.
What you get
- The Sponsorship Playbook. How to read all three government files yourself. How to tell an H-1B sponsor from a green card sponsor. What the new wage-weighted lottery changes about negotiating an offer. How to read filing numbers without fooling yourself — initial approvals against renewals, denial rates, and why volume is not quality. The exact wording that gets a real answer out of HR instead of a polite yes. The red flags worth walking away from.
- The Cap-Exempt Directory — 51 pages, every state. Institutions of higher education, their affiliated nonprofits, and nonprofit and government research organisations are exempt from the H-1B cap under INA 214(g)(5): no lottery, no March deadline, they file any day of the year. Entries are marked as confirmed or as likely from the name, and the likely ones tell you the one line that settles it.
Why this is the question that matters
An employer that files H-1B petitions has told you it will bring someone in on a temporary status. It has told you nothing about whether it will ever start a permanent residence case. Plenty do the first for years and never do the second. The Playbook shows you how to check both.
What this is not
These are filing records, not job listings. They show that an employer has sponsored, which is the best available predictor that it will. They are not open vacancies, not an endorsement, not a job guarantee and not a placement service.
How you get it
Your download is available the moment your payment completes. Everything is a file, yours to keep. There is nothing to schedule, nothing to wait for, and nothing you have to send us.
What this is not
This is research and education, not legal advice. HireTrekk is not a law firm. We are not attorneys or accredited representatives. We do not prepare, review or file immigration forms, and we do not represent you before USCIS, the Department of Labor or any other agency. We cannot guarantee any outcome, and nobody honestly can.
Every claim we make cites the government source it came from, with the date we checked it, so you can verify all of it yourself. Immigration rules change and individual cases turn on facts we cannot verify. Confirm anything you intend to act on with a licensed US immigration attorney before you act on it.

Questions people ask
Is this legal advice?
No. HireTrekk is a research and education service. We are not a law firm, we are not attorneys or accredited representatives, and we do not prepare, review or file forms or represent you before any agency. Every claim cites its government source, so you can verify all of it yourself.
When do I get it?
Your download is available the moment your payment completes. Everything is a file, yours to keep. There is nothing to schedule and nothing to wait for.
How do I find employers who sponsor?
Section 5 is entirely about that. Every H-1B petition and every labour certification in the United States is a public record — USCIS publishes the employers, the Department of Labor publishes the job titles and wages. The workbook names each file and shows you how to read it, including how to tell an H-1B sponsor from a green card sponsor, which are not the same thing.
Will this get me a green card?
No, and nobody can promise that. What it does is make sure you are not spending years on the slowest route open to you, or missing a deadline nobody mentioned.
How current is it?
It states the Visa Bulletin month it was built against and carries the date every source was checked. We re-check the bulletin monthly and fees quarterly.
